Terms of service

artifacted is in beta. These terms are deliberately short — here is what we provide, what we ask of you, and what "beta" means for both of us.

What artifacted provides

artifacted lets you put small apps online at their own private address and share them with specific people — like a Google Doc, but it's an app. Every app is private by default: nobody reaches it without signing in and being on its share list.

Your account and your content

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what you deploy. Your code stays yours; you grant us the technical rights needed to host, run, and serve it to the people you share it with — nothing more.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use artifacted to:

• host or distribute illegal content, malware, or phishing pages;
• infringe other people's rights (copyright, trademarks, privacy);
• abuse the sandbox — no attacking other apps or the platform, no probing or circumventing the isolation or access checks, no cryptocurrency mining, no deliberately excessive load;
• resell or misrepresent the service as your own.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Beta, and no warranty

artifacted is free while in beta. The service is provided as is: features may change, limits may be introduced, and we make no guarantees about uptime or fitness for a particular purpose. Keep a copy of your code — treat artifacted as where your app lives, not as its only backup. To the extent permitted by German law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of a free beta service; liability for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health remains unlimited as required by law.

Termination

You can stop using artifacted and delete your apps at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and we may end or change the beta with reasonable notice. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you time to take your code with you.
