For Claude artifacts

Your Claude artifact, on its own private URL

A Claude artifact is the app, dashboard or small tool Claude builds for you in a chat. It works — and then it sits in that chat until you give it a home.

From chat to a link your people can open

01

Get the code out of Claude

Copy the artifact’s code or download it, where Claude offers that, or ask Claude for the HTML file. An HTML page works as it is; a React component works when it imports nothing but React.

02

Paste or drop it here

Sign in with Google or Microsoft, choose Deploy an app, and paste the HTML or drop the file. Nothing to install, no build step.

03

Share it like a doc

It goes live at <name>.artifacted.cloud, visible only to you. Type the emails of the people who should see it; they sign in and they’re in.

What your artifact gets here

Private by default

Nobody can open it until you say so. Checked on every request.

Named people

Share by email, or with everyone on your company's domain.

Revoke immediately

Take access back and it's gone on their next click.

Shares that expire

Give a client access until Friday. Friday comes; access goes.

Shared, live data

If the artifact saves to localStorage, everyone you invite sees the same data, live.

A visitor log

See who opened it and when — the honest metric.

Is this for you?

This is for you if

  • you built something in Claude that other people should use
  • the people you want to share with don't all have Claude accounts
  • you want to choose exactly who gets in, and take it back
  • several people write to the same list, tally or tracker

Skip it if

  • it's a public page for anyone on the internet — a public link is simpler
  • it needs a build step, a framework or npm packages beyond React
  • it only ever needs to live in your own chat

Questions people search

Can I share a Claude artifact privately?

Yes, in two ways. Claude can share an artifact itself, and everyone who opens it needs a Claude account (Anthropic’s help center). Here, the people you invite sign in with Google or Microsoft — no Claude account — and you can set an end date, revoke anyone, and see who visited.

Claude artifacts vs Projects — what's the difference?

A Project is a workspace inside Claude: its own chats, uploaded files and instructions that Claude uses as context. An artifact is something Claude makes — an app, a dashboard, a document. Projects organize your work with Claude; artifacts are the output you might want to share. More in Claude artifacts vs Projects.

Claude artifacts vs Claude Code — which should I use?

Artifacts are the quick path: describe a tool in a chat and Claude builds it on the spot. Claude Code is Anthropic’s coding agent; it works on the files of a real project on your machine. Use artifacts for a single-page tool, Claude Code when the tool grows into a folder. Both end up here the same way. More in Cursor vs Claude Code vs Claude artifacts.

Does the shared data stay live for everyone?

Yes, when the artifact saves with localStorage: artifacted syncs it through the app’s own storage, so everyone you invite sees the same list or tally within a second. If the artifact saves through Claude’s own storage instead, ask Claude to switch it to localStorage first.
